This year marks my 10th year of owning my photography business. Over the past decade, I’ve had the honor of documenting weddings throughout New York and destinations beyond.
It feels surreal to say that.
Before building my own brand, I spent seven years photographing weddings for an established studio. Those early years shaped my foundation not only technically, but also professionally. I learned how to navigate a wedding day seamlessly, how to anticipate moments before they unfold, and how to create an experience that feels organized and calm.
Most importantly, I learned that being a wedding photographer is about far more than beautiful images.
It’s about trust.
Whether I’m photographing a black-tie wedding in Manhattan, an elegant estate celebration in New York, or a destination wedding, my role is to create an environment where couples feel fully comfortable. When that happens, the real energy and chemistry naturally reveal themselves.
Over the years, I’ve refined what I believe wedding photography should feel like.
From the first consultation to onboarding, timeline guidance, the wedding day itself, and final gallery delivery, my goal is simple: to make the experience feel effortless.
Many of my couples are planning thoughtful, refined celebrations. They care about family. They care about legacy. They want photographs that feel honest and elevated and not overly styled or trend-driven.
That’s what I offer.
Calm direction when needed.
Space when it matters.
A steady presence throughout the day.
My work has always centered around authenticity and intention.
As a New York wedding photographer who grew up in New York, I don’t chase trends. I focus on creating images that will feel just as meaningful decades from now as they do today.
Every frame I capture is intentional.
I’m thinking about light, composition, movement, and how the final image will live — in an heirloom album, framed in a home, passed down to future generations.
I give gentle guidance during portraits to create clean, elegant compositions. And then I step back to capture the in-between moments like the quiet glance, the deep breath, the unplanned laughter.
Those are often the images that matter most.
I fell in love with wedding photography because I was drawn to witnessing love in its many forms. Photographing weddings throughout New York and at destinations around the world has allowed me to experience connection, tradition, and family in such meaningful ways.
Being surrounded by that kind of emotion year after year has brought perspective and positivity into my own life.
Ten years into owning my business, I feel more grounded than ever — more confident in my vision, more intentional in my approach, and more grateful for the trust my couples place in me.
This milestone doesn’t feel like an ending.
It feels like a foundation.
